APW - Columbus, Columbus King, 21J, 18S, gold-filled original Dueber HC with attractive engraving detail, original case paper inside rear, "Columbus King, 21 Jewels" marked white enamel DS dial, SW-LS, combination star and sunburst pattern nickel damascene, s#505534.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous plates with few scattered micro-fine scratches; dial with small bit of fill material evident around the seating of its center section indicating the re-securing of the dial center at some point during its existence, outer chapter hl at 5:30, faint outer chapter hl at 1, few scattered ultra-fine surface scratches that are difficult to find; fine-plus hands; case shows medium wear, no dents or dings, substantially reduced engine turning detail with large portions of full loss, reduced engraving detail, spots and strips of wear to brass to pendant and rear shoulder, partial rings of wear to brass to band and front and rear edges; tight bow, replacement crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
